interPoser Ltd: C4d Poser import, light

interPoser Limited Edition (the light version of interPoser Pro) is a Curious Labs Poser scene importer plugin for Cinema 4D. By exporting a Wavefront file (.obj) of the scene and saving the scene (.pz3|.pzz) from Poser, interPoser allows reconstruction of material settings with the help of Poser Runtime references to find image textures.

Changes saved to the Poser Scene file can be applied at any time thereafter. Using the plugin’s Runtime Explorer, you can apply any Poser Runtime library file containing material information to the selected object or objects in a manner similar to Poser. This means that material application can be done directly within Cinema 4D by selecting the thumbnail of a Poser Runtime library file!

New to version 2.0 is the ability to import cameras and lights along with the scene import. Camera settings can be applied to imported cameras using Runtime Explorer. Light sets and props can be loaded using Runtime Explorer as well. Basic animation keys are supported for cameras, lights, and props. Props containing morphs will have the new interPoser Morph tag system applied for real-time morph application and animation.

The Limited Edition supports static and animated Wavefront objects exported from Poser as well as material reconstruction and application. It does not support Poser 5 procedural shaders (at this time), rigging, posing, figure morphs, figure animatability, or dynamic hair and cloth.
