Sometimes I forget this: A big THANK YOU must be sent to everyone who has supported my business and work over the years.

What I realized today (watching AGT of all things) was that I ventured into this not because of profits and making people pay lots of money to make me successful but because it is something that I love doing and following this dream of mine needed to be realized. I’d rather be poor and happy then rich and feeling guilty. Striving to provide something that makes other people happy makes me happy.

A dream embarks in the individual but only reaches realization when others positively benefit from and partake of it. I would have given up long ago if it were not for all of you who have complimented and enjoyed what I have to offer. It may not be perfect but it has enriched my life beyond expectation.

So, cheers and, again, take pride in supporting my dream in whatever direction it takes you.

Robert (aka Kuroyume)

The much improved Convert feature to convert InterPoser Pro figures and props into Cinema 4D representation is moving along very well. So far, these features have been completed:

- Morphs to C4D Morph tag including animation (optional)
- Rig to C4D Skin/Joint/Weight tag
- Pose retention as zeroed pose, default pose, static pose, or animation
- IPP IKChain to C4D IK
- Conforming clothes skinned to figure rig (considering an option to combine the meshes for game export)

Poser Tri-axial weights are being converted into the Weight tag but more work is going to be done and a smoothing option included.

Just about to start Master-Slave conversion into Xpresso node setup. Connections from/to body part rotations can not be retained but Full Body Morphs, Partial Body Morphs, and any other types of connection should be convertible.

Okay, it won’t be much more than it is already but (as suggested by the 1.9.9.alpha creep) this will move it rightfully into the next version. Along with some minor improvements and new graphics, there will also be a much more complete Convert feature for R12/R13 which converts IPP morphs into Pose Morph Tag morphs, IPP IK chains into C4D IK chains, improved weights (using Weights tag), XPresso for FBM and PBM morph controls, and, hopefully, a working system to retain conformed clothing with the figure in C4D-compliant fashion. The idea is to have a way to make your Poser figures more C4D-compliant and then exportable using FBX or COLLADA for other purposes if needed (such as other 3D applications or for game engines).

I will also endeavor to update the PDF documentation completely to include all of the missed changes and maybe add some tutorials and how-to’s. The entire PDF document may be turned into an HTML-based reference to replace the limited one currently available.

For existing users of InterPoser Pro 1, there will be a minimal upgrade fee and the need for a new serial number. For new users, the cost will increase slightly from IPP 1. All-in-all, I want to make the upgrade transition as simple as possible.

An issue involving fold-able group sections in dialogs has made it impossible to get to certain sections of the IvyGrower tool. This may be a bug in Cinema 4D R13 or a change in behavior which hasn’t been made public yet since the C4D SDK documentation is still unavailable. I’ve gone ahead and just made them regular group sections. Also, the Ivy Size value on the Growth tab will appear 10 times larger than previously. This does not change the internal value but provides an easier interface to this enigmatic setting.

If you have already downloaded the R13 version then please redownload and install this update.
